In Sa Piling Ng Aswang Marya palys a successful career woman with an awfully busy sked which makes her an absentee sister to younter brod, Cogie. When the latter dies a mystrious death down south on a mountain hiking trip, the pangs of guilt crawl all over Marya's being. Off she goes on a sojourn to her brod's death place to do some sleuthing to appease her conscience. In the process, she meets her brod's assailants and their netherworldly ilk. Much to her suprise, the cosmic truth presents her with an unexpected revelation. She begins to learn the ways of Aswang.
