Patayin Sa Sindak Si Barbara

**** Production Company: ABS-CBN Network / Star Cinema ****

A woman's simple wish to earn filial acceptance results to a terrifying turn of dark events.

Barbara (Kris Aquino) surrenders her man, Fritz (Albert Martinez), to the arms of her neurotic half-sister Ruth (Jodi Sat. Maria-Lacson) in order to win her affection and that of her mother's Amanda (Susan Roces).

Since Fritz could love no other woman but Barbara, his marriage with Ruth becomes a spectacle of Ruth's raving jealous fits, ultimately leading to her suicide.

Ruth's spirit, however, resists resting in peace and her obsession crosses over to the afterlife-- Ruth haunts the entire family and uses her own child Karen (Celine Lim) as an instrument to carry out her ominous revenge.

As Barbara spars with the spirit, the revelation of a sinister secret could be their only chance to put an end to the horror and dread that have shrouded the entire household.

But can a vengeful soul be ever appeased, especially that it returned from the other side in the name of vengeance?

My Cactus Heart

**** Production Company: Star Cinema / Skylight Films ****

Sandy Makalintal does not believe in soulmates.

Since the breakdown of her parents marriage, she has sworn off love and the promise of "forever".

Despite her numerous suitors, she'd always find reasons to reject them and thus became known as having a "cactus heart" by her peers, a woman with a heart full of thorns.

Carlo has always believed in finding your soulmate, your "one true love".

Even though his mom died giving birth to him, he saw how his father's love for her lasts until now.

Since then, he knows that he will only love once and it will be forever.

There is an undeniable attraction between Sandy and Carlo when they met.

But as Sandy found her cactus heart starting to open up to love, fear made her turn her attention to Benedict Gotiaco, a new suitor who has fallen in love with her as well.

In the conflict between succumbing to love and facing its challenges or running away to save herself, Sandy eventually realizes that her fears of getting hurt are only stopping her from experiencing true love... and giving herself a chance to have her own "happy ending".
